A main switch is also different from an RCCB.
An RCCB detects residual or leakage current and can disconnect the supply when the required condition occurs.

Does a Main Switch Provide Overload Protection?

A main switch operating as an isolator or switch disconnector is primarily intended for switching and isolation, not necessarily for overload or short circuit protection.
